How to Measure Work Site and What components I will need to Install Folding Gate?

  • Why Our Folding Gate?
    • Our Folding Gate are made of Heavy Duty Steel Tubing , NOT "U" channels.
    • You can mount “Left to Right” or “Right to Left”
    • You can Mount Interior or Exterior side of building.
    • You can mount our folding gate as Single gate, Pair Gate, Double Gate ,multiple gate and mobile barrier.

    • You can choose various locking options : Padlock, Push Lock, Cylinder- Deadbolt Lock, Thumb turn.
    • Our folding Gate is Powder Coated thus make attractive to use in commercial and Residential Places.
    • Our Folding gate comes with two hinges so in most cases you can mount it directly on window or door frame and you may not need to drill hole on bottom of window or door frame.
  • Our Folding Gate can be installed direct on Window frame, Door frame, Any Wall Opening and Counter Opening
  • Measurement for Window: Measure Opening Width and Height in inches for each window.
  • What I will need for Window? : 1 Appropriate Size folding gate, Caster Wheel, Lock , Lock Standoff Bracket (For Face of Frame Mount ).
  • Measurement for Commercial Door: Measure Opening Width frame to frame .and Height from floor to bottom of door closer. (If there is door closer on top of door is mounted, you should measure below door closer to mount gate below door closer.) Is Handle Protruding out of Door frame? If So than you need to Mount Gate on Post with Standoff Bracket.
    • For Two gate Closing in Middle  : 2 Appropriate Size folding gate, 2 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 1 Deep “U” Bracket, 1 Deep “T” Bracket, 1 Shoot Bolt, 1 Shoot Bolt Socket.
    • For Single Gate Closing on One Side  : 1 Appropriate Size gate, 1 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket
  • What I will need for Single Commercial Door? : 1 Appropriate Size folding gate, 1 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 1 Lock Stand Off Bracket, 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 2 Angle Bracket  (If you have Door Handle Protruding out, than  Post , Angle Bracket and Feet Bracket keeps Gate Away from Door).
  • What I will need for Double Commercial Door? :
    • For Two gate Closing in Middle  : 2 Appropriate Size folding gate, 2 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 2 Angle Bracket (Stand Off)  (If you have Door Handle Protruding out, than  Post , Angle Bracket and Feet Bracket keeps Gate Away from Door ). 1 Deep “U” Bracket, 1 Deep “T” Bracket, 1 Shoot Bolt, 1 Shoot Bolt Socket
    • For Single Gate Closing on One Side  : 1 Appropriate Size folding gate, 1 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 1 Lock Stand Off Bracket, 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 2 Angle Bracket  (If you have Door Handle Protruding out, than  Post , Angle Bracket and Feet Bracket keeps Gate Away from Door )
  • Measurement for Clear Opening Area ( Partition Entrance) : Opening Width and Opening Height
  • What I will need for Clear Opening Area ( Partition Wall Entrance):
  • For Two gate Closing in Middle  : 2 Appropriate Size folding gate, 2 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 1 Deep “U” Bracket, 1 Deep “T” Bracket, 1 Shoot Bolt, 1 Shoot Bolt Socket.
  • For Single Gate Closing on One Side  : 1 Appropriate Size gate, 1 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket
  • For Counter Opening Same as Above
  • Measurement for Patio Door Opening : Opening Width and Opening Height Brick to Brick
  • What I will need for Patio Door Opening : 1 Appropriate Size gate, 1 Caster Wheel, 1Lock or Locking Post (recommended), 2 Post , 2 Feet bracket, 1 Lock Standoff Bracket
  • Our Folding gate can be used to create Fixed or mobile barrier with Mobile Trolley. Folding Gate as Mobile Barrier, Mobile Trolley is required on both side of gate.
  • Measurement of Mobile Barrier  ( For Dividing Two Area ) : Opening Width, Opening Height
  • What I will need for Mobile Barrier
    • For Fixed System from both side  : 2 Post , Gate, Mobile Trolley , Shoot Bolt Socket, Padlock, Push Locks (All Hardware Quantity depend on total width of system)
    • For Movable System from Both Side : 2 Post , Gate, Mobile Trolley , Shoot Bolt Socket, Pad Lock, Push Locks (All Hardware Quantity depend on total width of system)
  • For Special Type of Installation You may need More Hardware and Accessories. Please send us some images of the area where you would like to install folding gate with measurements, we will recommend accessories and provide you complete quote.

This document is for Guidance Purpose, Actual Requirement may vary depend on work Site. Metal, Concrete and Wood Self Drilling Screws will require depend upon job site conditions. You may need tools like metal cutting Saw and Drill driver, hammer, etc..Please wear all necessary safety wear during Installation.
